Sorry Diabolical but you're incorrect about RX-8's. Yes the auto is much slower than the 6 speed, and the one in the video is a 6 speed. I've driven it to it's limit and I'll gotta tell you it's not that fast, even with intake, exhaust, AND N20. I understand you're a proud owner but the fact of the matter is when you start modding the RX-8 and the 350Z, the RX-8 gains are very minimal...even with a turbo. Some guy on here on trapped at 14 sec with a Greddy turbo on his RX-8. I can trap high 12's, low 13's. So, was he trying? Yes. He knew we were going on the freeway to get some sound clips of my exhaust. Which is louder than his rotary anyday. Here's another video of the two of us racing from a dig. I Hate Rice, Sad to say he was trying. If you pay close attention to the last run, he was the one who actually gets the starting jump. Also, it may be difficult to tell but look at the highway lines as he tries to keep up. Not to take away anything from the RX-8, but it's just not fast...even with mods. Chris, You're right it was a 350Z, but the last 2 clips were races against a RX-8. -Bootay

Bada.s.s? I was just trying to be like that bada.s.s with the oversized sha des and undersized face in the video. Guess I can't be that cool. Perhaps I should window tint my basement windows and make frames for them so I can wear them first.

I'm not going to dog the Neon on steroids...whoops. Let's try again. Really though, I have nothing against the SRT's, but come on! Do you really thin k that the 350Z had 600 hp?! With that much horsepower you would have seen the front end launch upwards.
Smells kind of fishy IMO. 600 HP 350Z's shouldn't move that slow. Hey! I ha ve an idea, next time race that same car, but text it as 1600 HP. Just ima gine how many people's time you'll waste having them watch the video!

Age may matter if we are comparing stock vs. stock cars. Which in this vide o neither of the cars are stock. When you start modding cars, you might as well throw how old the car is out the window. Yes, the design of the car makes a big impact. But everyone knows that with money and time you can ma ke even a Yugo an 11 sec car.

Your statement is false. Stock for stock both the new Mustang and the 2006 350Z are very close.

Good race yes, kill absolutely no. I won't dive into the debate that your car is a souped up Neon, etc, etc. Others have already gone there. They just look like a girl's car or a teen's car IMO. They are kinda fast even stock, but it's hard to take those cars seriously.
